Digital Marketing Consultant, Graphic Designer, Copywriter, Junior Marketing Co-ordinator

While one person can manage the other essential roles, developing product content, such as images, videos, compelling copy, and other enhanced content types, can benefit from the support of multiple team members

Content team essential skills and core responsibilities:

  • Creates engaging content for a variety of mediums, including web, social media, print, and more;
  • Ideates, develops, publishes, and delivers reports on integrated digital marketing campaigns;
  • Utilizes strong communication skills to create compelling content, highlighting strong attention to detail and exceptional grammar;
  • Experience with content creation software, such as a content management system (CMS), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects;
  • Experience with marketing automation software, such as HubSpot, Marketo, and ActiveCampaign; and
  • Up-to-date with ecommerce trends, which drive his or her innovative and experimental multimedia strategies.
  • Designing and creating marketing material and sales collateral (banners, email signatures, SEO banners, flyers, brochures etc.)
  • Creating, posting on and maintaining the social media pages (knowledge of social media marketing)
  • Monitoring trends/events and news in SA and worldwide that could boost our sales and market our products
  • Creative writing skills (client communications, blogs, articles etc.)
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events (attend them to facilitate their success if necessary)
  • Prepare and deliver sales and/or promotional presentations
  • Entry-level graphic design experience and knowledge of the design process and be able to work with designers (eg: Adobe software)
  • Creating and implementing marketing campaigns (traditional and digital) and track progress and ROI
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Identify and implement the usage of relevant marketing tools in the business
  • Work with third party marketing department for joint marketing initiatives
  • Ability to work closely with the Sales team to understand and fulfil their marketing and promotional requirements
  • Ensure company CI, tone, style etc. is implemented and maintained throughout the business
  • Work with a third party to manage and maintain the company website and other outsourced digital requirements
  • Minimum Educational Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies/Communications/Marketing
    • 2-5 years’ experience in a marketing role
    • Product Knowledge and experience – IT, SaaS, Cloud Computing, Email technology, Security and Storage services (preferable)
    • Proven track record of marketing experience/successes
    • Experience with working with reseller channels (preferable)
    • Graphic design experience (preferable)
